Message for Present Corona Issue

The coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic is the defining global health crisis of our time. Since its emergence late last year, the virus has spread to every continent except Antarctica.
But COVID-19 is much more than a health crisis. By stressing every one of the countries it touches, it has the potential to create devastating social, economic and political crises that will leave deep scars.

The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is be well informed about the COVID-19 virus, the disease it causes and how it spreads. Protect yourself and others from infection by washing your hands or using an alcohol based rub frequently and not touching your face.

The COVID-19 virus spreads primarily through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose when an infected person coughs or sneezes, so it’s important that you also practice respiratory etiquette (for example, by coughing into a flexed elbow).

Doctors, nurses and the staff at hospitals around the country are putting themselves at risk while trying to identify and treat those infected with COVID-19, and to stop the virus from spreading further.

Health workers are in fear of getting exposed is increasing as they do not have adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) like masks, gloves & gowns. The public hospitals in Dhaka and other parts of the country are yet to take any foolproof preventative measures.

HeLO (Healthy Heart Healthy life Organisation) moved forwad to curv the grave situations. It started if activities with health awareness programme.HeLO & BATA jointly arranged PPE distribution for doctors & allied forces in different COVID 19 treating hospitals.They are also distributing musk, gloves & hand sanitizers for city Corporation cleaners who are at high risk also.

HeLO will be distributing necessary foods for needy people of the City soon. Activities of HeLO will be continued till the end of this COVID 19 pandemic.
